After going to way too many lackluster trivia nights, brothers Brett and Nik Outchcunis decided to put their heads together to fix the problems that they found with today’s live trivia:
No more boring questions
I mean, how many history and geography questions can one person take? Most standard trivia nights are basically just “Trivial Pursuit” cards read out loud. Each week, the Trivia Brothers deliver brand new questions that are timely, balanced and fun.
Clear audio
Most trivia nights only have one speaker that broadcasts the questions to the entire space. This usually means that some people won’t be able to hear the questions over the noise of the crowd. We went and did you three better!
1) We have a big screen that projects all of the questions and answers
2) We have two big speakers at opposites ends of the space
3) You can answer the questions right from your phone! No more running a scrap piece of paper up to the host… just chill with your team and submit your answers before the time is up.
Standard trivia nights are usually just a set of questions and a halftime quiz… there’s no real interactivity. In Challenge! Trivia, we run multiple team challenges during each episode that get you up out of your seat and mingling with other teams. Also, we have audio and video questions that add an additional interactive element to the night.
Accurate scoring
Gone are the days of the host manually entering numbers into a spreadsheet or doing quick math on paper to determine the scores. Our scoring is automated, accurate and displayed on the big screen for everyone to see. Oh, and we have a secret weapon at the end of each game called “The Equalizer” that gives daring teams the chance to come from behind and win it all!
